SEE, Class 11 and 12 examinations will be decided in a week: Minister of Education
A decision on the Class 10 SEE, Class 11 and 12 examinations, which are in confusion due to Corona, will be taken within a year, said Education Minister Giriraj Mani Pokharel.
In a virtual dialogue organized by the education journalist network Ezone on Thursday, he said that three different options are being studied for the exams and that a conclusion will be reached within the next year.
He informed that the Council of Ministers will decide whether the examination can be conducted now or not.
He said that the educational facilitation guideline has been implemented from the alternative system to provide temporary solution for the opening of the educational institution after the closure.
"We are not trying to open the school from July 1," he said. "It is only an option for the time being. If the situation remains the same even after 45 days, we will move forward with three different plans.
Explaining the role of the local level in the implementation of the directive, Minister Pokharel said, "Let's look at the work of the first 15 days. If all students benefit from it, it can be linked to the academic session and it will get formal recognition."
