Government to teach students on radio and TV from tomorrow (with schedule)

Pokhara: The  government has decided to conduct radio and TV classes for the students who have been deprived of schooling due to the ongoing lockdown due to the corona virus epidemic.

The government is preparing to start teaching students through FM, TV and internet service providers.

Director General of Education and Human Resource Development Center Dr. Tulasi Prasad Thapaliya informed that the routine of starting classes one to eight has been released on television.

According to him, thematic lessons will be read from Nepal Television's NTV Plus from July 1 to July 31. Similarly, thematic lessons of class 9 and 10 will be broadcast from Dis Home, Net TV, Max TV's School Education Channel.

As the schools are not open immediately, the process of teaching through alternative methods has been put forward, said the Director General of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development, Dr. Thapaliya said.

He said that the locals are also using local FM to teach the students. Arrangements have also been made to teach from Radio Nepal and many FMs. Thapaliya said.
